A Time For Sharing

Christmas company is starting to arrive. We so far have Maggie and Evan along with Bill, Claudia and Bea. Bella is very happy to have her cousin here and is even sharing the

homemade liver treats that her dog trainer gave her for Christmas.
Look how wanting little Bea is. She's hooked on liver but we are restricting the girls to two a day; anymore gives them the farts!!!
I received these wonderful Ethel chocolates and like Bella, I am willing to share

with my favorite sister in law, Claudia. We have lots of stuff planned to do. We went shopping at the outlets yesterday and spent more time on ourselves (how does that happen?)than those on our list. We spent so much time that we decided it was too late to make the deep fried turkey with all the trimmings we had planned and so opted for a faster fare.

We all took a job; Evan made the fries, Bill made the toast, I made the eggs, Maggie made the tomato salad and G cooked the ham. The final dinner was an open faced ham and egg sandwich with regular and sweet potato fries and a lovely tomato salad. Yum.

Today we will make the turkey and all the stuff that goes with it. We are going to paint wooden ornaments that I got at JoAnn's for sixty % off and so ended up being $.27 each. You know I love a bargain!!!

You may love a bargain, but it looks like a million bucks when you're finished.
That dinner looks wonderful... please send leftovers!

Thanks for the great idea for dinner-the simpler the better right now.
We're having lobster tails for the Eve and a super looking 10 lb fresh turkey for the day. Lots of cookies and Bellinis will ensure a long winters nap!
Bea looks adorable
Merry Christmas Tommy!

I love the spontaneous fun and cooking...isn't it nice to be flexible? Nothing engraved in stone, or held firm to plans? I suppose a plan is after-all just a plan.
