Thank You Sincerely

I don't quite know how to go on with my blog in the manner I usually do. It has been a week since our Lauren died but it feels more like a month. So much has happened in such a short span of time. We traveled to Illinois and back and never had her out of our minds for a minute. It is so very sad. I will keep Lauren in my heart forever. Thank you for all your kind thoughts. I have shared them with my sister and they have given her comfort.

We've never met, but you have been in my thoughts all week. I'm so glad to see you back - you have been sorely missed. While your life will never be the same ever again, it will go on, and you have your memories and your friends, both real and in blogland to comfort you.

I've been thinking about you all week and wondering how you and your family are doing. Nothing can make it better but time and faith may bring you peace. Still praying for you all.

Your friends will not expect for things to be the way they were before your niece's death. But we all will be listening to whatever you have to say... that's what we do. My thoughts and prayers are still with you and your family, time will help.

Tommy, I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my oldest son almost 11 years ago, and I can assure you that Lauren will always be in your heart, even as the pain eventually fades. Hold your memories close and treasure them. I'm praying for you and your sister & families. ((hugs))
