It's A Dog's Life

We are still in Key West. Maggie and I were having such a good time that we decided to stay through the inauguration festivities. I took a couple days off of blogging because this place we are staying at is by the airport (due to being dog friendly) and the internet service is sketchy at best. It seemed to clear up last night and this morning, so I thought I would give it a shot.

We are having a marvelous time. We are shopping, visiting art galleries, going back to familiar sights from the past as well as the usual- going to drag queen shows, having dinner with the dog asleep on my lap in a nice restaurant and shopping for bargains with Maggie. We are gonna head home tomorrow. We plan on revisiting Mallory Square today and then going somewhere to watch the swearing in and then there are parties and balls everywhere and we intend on making an entrance.

The dogs are having a great time here. One of the reasons is that it has been cool (just around 70) and so we can keep the patio door opened and they can come in and out on their own. Here is Grace Kelly on the couch and here is
is Bella on the deck checking out the star situation. She borrowed a cushion from the chair to lounge on.

While walking down Duval Street we noticed a big crowd in front of one of the storefronts. Being the very nosy person that I am, I trotted on over to see what all the fuss was about.
The window was full of dogs; or should i say puppies. They were all tiny. This 'on it's back' Maltase was the biggest and it probably weighed in at a couple of pounds. It was precious to watch these little creatures. They were all so loving to each other.
Check out the dog in the bowl. One was just cuter than the next.

Key West also has a lot of outside art. This dog adorns an entrance to a big building and it seems to double as art and a flower pot.

Sounds like you're having a great time with your gals. Any temps above 23 would please me no end. Grace Kelly is so adorable-Bella looks like the Queen Bee though.
