What's Going On

Regina and Kelly are here and we have been very busy. I promised to "HELP" Kelly make a duvet cover for her comforter. She has been using the same comforter through college (Texas A & M) for four years and I think she may have had it earlier than that. Since she doesn't sew and never has, "HELP" seems like such a silly name.
Kelly did find a chart on line to help with the quantity of fabric. Unfortunately, what she was told to purchase was not enough. This Merlot color of tufted home dec fabric was what we chose. After exhausting all avenues of scrunching to find enough of this fabric to complete the project, we opted for a filler of cotton in the middle underside.
It probably was not the best choice in contrasting color and design, but honey, that's all that Quilt Store Tommy had to offer.
I actually did put these gal's to work. This particular project had to be pinned due to the fullness of the tufted part so that it didn't get stretched out. I had them do the pinning and the unpinning.

Bella really took to Kelly, as usual. Genie, not the biggest dog lover in the world, has always attracted Bella too. Go figure. Everyone is rousting; gotta go.

Au contraire...I think the contrast fabric looks great with the satiny stuff.

Ooohhh, but that comforter looks big, probably going to be heavy too...I presume when you say 'a cover', you mean it is removeable for washing!
She won't want to get up from under that comforter now!

Did you see Bella on the table? Cute attackkkkkk
