Twisted Sister

My sister Mike was scheduled to spend this week with us gals but due to work obligations, she couldn't join us this time. That's not to say that she isn't keeping up with us via email and phone. Here is what she is working on in tandem with us but we are in Florida and it's 70 and she's in Illinois where there are many inches of snow on the ground.
You can tell this by the argyle sweater that her little Chai has on. Bella has a bikini on. Anyway, check out this dynamite quilt that she is working on. This is what she accomplished so far this weekend.

Notice if you will that she liberally uses the 'dot' in her composition. Very interesting. I love this piece; it's colorful and fun.
Can you even believe that she hasn't even been quilting for a year? She has already done lots of stuff, including finishing this black and white quilt top. We miss her here and will never schedule another get together when Mike can't come. She is putting us all to shame !!!

Love the dots and the B&W piece is so very cool.
What else is going on? It's gloomy here I need a pick-me-up.

Very nice, it must be in the blood!

You should get all the younger women folks in your clan interested in needlework and quilting too!
