Hairy Thought

I have thought of a new idea for our hairbrushes. I clean the hair out of my brush every day and I hate the hair on my hands. Why not invent a hairbrush that has a pad of thin paper or tissue on the bottom of the bristles that you can lift off, one at a time and make cleaning the brush simpler . You may take my idea and make yourself rich. I will be the first one to buy it!

Let me know who comes up with it

Oh Wow! When we use the furminator on Lucy we get a huge bag full of hair. It's an amazing thing. The first time we did it outside in the evening and the next morning there were little fluffy climps of hair in the bushes and trees. The birds took it to make nests.

I used to save my ripped panty hoses for this purpose. Chop off a leg of the hose and slip it over the brush. Push it down between the bristles. When you are done brushing, pull the hose off.

I don't know whether your idea would make money...it might, since people don't wear panty hose these days.

Nowadays my hair is super short so I wash it every morning or night, wax and go!

Supposedly, panty hose are back in style; also, the conservationists would not like this idea - too much paper, but the panty hose would be like recycling.......

I once had a purse-size hairbrush that had a little push-button or slide thing on it (can't recall which) -- you'd work that little button or slide and the bristles would retract! Then getting the hair off the pad was simple! That was probably 10-15 years ago... I wonder what I ever did with that brush...
