Girl Trip

Here is the dresden plate quilt top staging for me. As I said, Peg is sewing it together at home so this is kinda what it will look like when it's done. It's very happy isn't it?
Anne is definitely our over achiever this visit. She made two of these doll quilt tops (the size of each 9 patch square is two inches finished) and
these next two

were quick to put together by Anne. She used a couple packs of these
Bali Pops, which she sewed continuously and then just sewed together the strips and bordered them. She has a new long arm and wants to have some practice pieces that she can gift later on.

We took another field trip yesterday; this time it was for lunch. It was one of our favorite
restaurants; mostly for me because they allow dogs and actually encourage their visits. Bella likes to be just one of the girls.

All the quilts are beautiful.

Truly gorgeous...LOVE the Bali Pops(maybe because it sounds easy, but probably is not) from someone who only mends and sews on buttons.

Beautiful work turned out in your sweat shop! I wish there was a restaurant around here that welcomed dogs - they won't even let them on a lot of the outdoor patios :-(
