Good Day Sunshine

Little Violet was at the park yesterday in a sundress, in MARCH !!! It was eighty degrees in Chicago yesterday. It's hard to believe; both the weather and the fact that this little bundle can hop around a city playground. She is very cautious just like her dad was.

A bunch of us girls got together to watch Bridesmaids last night. For some reason we thought it was on On Demand. Well, we looked and looked and couldn't find it. We gave up that idea and settled for the Descendents with George Clooney. I was just okay, and certainly not Oscar quality. Who did he have to sleep with to get the nomination for it?

I have run into construction problems with my links. You can't fully sew down one with checking for the placement of another. Because there is freezer paper underneath, it tends to get bulky and awkward to sew. I have decided to slow down and enjoy the process, even if that means only sewing down two a day. Yes, that is what I am gonna do!!!

I think you're just saying that....you'll do 4 or 6 per day!

Violet is darling. Completely agree about Descendants. Totally un-Oscar worthy. Looking at George and the scenery was the only good thing about it. Bridesmaids, on the other hand, which I have seen twice, I could watch every week.

Redbox has Bridesmaids! (Altho Redbox is commitment-heavy, being that it's a one-night-stand checkout period.)

Violet is getting so grown up! I wonder if your links would be easier if you used shirt tailor interfacing (al-la Jane Sassaman) instead of freezer paper - it would be soft, easy to sew and no need to remove.
