Something Fishy

Yesterday was spent in Chicago with Violet and Maria. We took the wee one to the Shedd Aquarium for the second visit of her life.
Here she is, standing on the ledge that is used for seating to view the dolphins and the beluga whales.  I love how I captured her reflection in the water behind the wall of glass.
They had a place where you could be up close and personal with the starfish.  Violet liked to touch them.  She also liked to taste the water.  We had to put that to a stop.
While at the 'hands on' child portion of the aquarium,  it wasn't enough for V to splash around in the water with her hands; she wanted to climbl right in.  Her little shoe even got it's toe wet before we could stop her.

We had lunch outside while viewing the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan.  It was in the 80's.  It is warm today too.  I guess this is the beginning of the end of the Indian summer.  Halloween is next week and you know it's gotta be crummy weather on that day!!!!

It's always good for a gal to have her beverage close by. Darling picture of her reflection, she looks like she was loving it.

She looks so grown up in these pictures. The dress you made her is adorable on - it fits her perfectly. Now you need to find her shoes with buttons :-)
