Making Fabric Jewelry

This is a necklace I made for Maria's mother (the other grandma) for Christmas.  I got the idea from Pinterest.  You just take a cotton ball and wrap it with 1/4" wide lengths of scrap fabric, both solid and printed.  I then took fishing line (the thin stuff that's actually for jewelry making) an
d sewed beads on all sides  and sewed the balls together.  It was very quick and easy to do and is something to do while watching tv.


These are all the components you need for the assembly.   
And here is Annette wearing the finished product.  I think she actually liked it.  My color  choice was random as she is a big color of black so it hit the spot.
