Out With The Girls

Picture this.  We are sitting n the Lazy Flamingo which is located on the tip of Pine Island in the Gulf.

It overlooks the marina.  All of a sudden we take a gander at this boat from the window and just couldn't make heads or tails of the name on it.  Was the boat the toy purchased after dumping the trophy wife or what?  We didn't spend a whole lot of time on it; just chalking it up to a boy with a toy without a lot of word skills.

The size of the portions for this lunch/dinner meal was ridiculous.  There wasn't enough room on our table of six to even put all that we had ordered.  I got the pork tenderloin and I doctored it just as Wendy suggested; with coleslaw and buffalo wing hot sauce.  It was divine but I could have eaten on it for at least a couple days.

The owner's favorite on the menu are 'The Pot'.

It's two dozen oysters or clams or a combo of them that are steamed in beer with special spices (probably Old Bay) with celery, and onions, all in their own fresh juices.  It just looked a little messy for me.
When we had had our fill and all visited the ladies room for the boat ride home, we saw the whole of the boat.  It was literally an advertisement for a book.  I googled this guy and he is a divorce attorney in Ft. Myers.

I didn't spend a lot of time on his website but it kinda looks like he self publishes and has several books.

We saw dolphins, sea turtles and a tarpon on the way home.  It was a perfect day for a boat trip.
