Iron Chef Gulf Sprimp; Day 2

Iron Chef Gulf shrimp day two has come and gone. Maggie and Evan decided on an Asian influenced meal.
They started out making spring rolls.  The recipe they chose has both pork and shrimp in it.  The recipe
was very labor intensive.  But I gotta tell you

they were wonderful.  I have never used these spring roll wrappers but I am gonna try them soon.

The kids pre deep fried these so they wouldn't have to do everything at the last minute.  They just heated them up right before dinner time.
They were fabulous.  The recipe can be found on Food and Wine and it is called Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls.

is called Thai Style Radish and Watermelon Salad.

The main dish was most excellent too.  The pad thai came from Epicurious.  The meal was better than restaurant quality.  They made my tacos look a little juvenile.  Oh well.

Just got home from Indiana for grandson's graduation..I am hungry & this meal looks great!
