Jazz With A Crawl

I must be doing something right; this morning when I woke up and took my blood pressure it was 92 over 63. I only did it because G was doing it. The new machine goes around your wrist and you hold it up to your heart and bam; in 20 seconds you have your read out. We went to a Jazz Festival last night. We signed up (with other people) to go bar hopping via a trolley from place to place. As is usually the case, I liked the first Dixie Jazz group the bestl They look very Florida, wouldn't you say? Where else can you retire in beautiful weather (for the most part) and still do what you love?

This place had a more restaurant Jazz group.  The festival goes through Saturday in Sarasota and there are lots of restaurants and haunts that are participating.

The place that finished up our crawl was the  Starlight and they had this cool sculpture out side it.  And to add to that, they had a vintage VW truck

was very cool and very pristine.

Check out this steering column and the stick shift.  Nothing but the bare necessities.  We didn't get home until after 11 and having left before 5:30 to go to start the night, that was some late night out for us old guys.  It was a good time to be had by all!!!

I gotta get ready for Cause A Stir Kitchen Club coming here at 11!
