Animal Kingdom

There is always so much going on in the grounds around the neighborhood that I am constantly caught up in the happenings.
G and I watched these these three mallard ducks for days with a lone other duck always going wherever they go at a distance, even when going in the water. It's as tho' he is alone now but needs a pack and although they won't really let them in, the will tolerate him at a distance.

And yesterday we watched out our window, a turtle lay eggs an as they dropped into the grass, a crow was following behind eating the eggs. It was sad to me but I do

know it is survival of the fittest. It's a hard egg to crack at times tho'.

I have an all day class and meeting at Modern Quilt Guilt. I have lots to pack up and take.
