A Lovely Wedding

We had a great time at our nieces wedding. It was nice to see everyone. It was in a big empty three story loft that housed artists lofts and then three or more very large empty rooms for just such an occasion.

This was an arch made over the corridor that was made up of leftover moldings and trim.

This was very funny.  All the walls had graffiti art on them.

They even had a colored rhino!

Instead of a guest book they had these wooden puzzle pieces that you signed your name onto.  Great idea.

Here is my niece Sarah checking out the sweets table.

The newlyweds are cutting the rug for the first time as a couple.  Then everyone joined them.  It was the first wedding in a very long time that everyone was dancing.  They had an excellent band of about ten people whose singers really sounded like the original artist.

Bands make people dance. That was the only thing my daughter and I haggled over. We found a band that had dj equipment so she could have the song she wanted to dance to. Worked out! Looks like a very fun wedding. Those are getting harder and harder to come by I think.
