Andy -fied

Here the four 'Andy-fied' flowers that were ready to be put together.  The centers

had to be dealt with first.  I was gonna do pebble stitching but couldn't handle the free motion at all so I just got thick thread and did all the centers with what I call chicken scratch.  It worked out just fine.

I sewed them together in a sorta quilt as you go, sewing the background stitches to within 1 1/4" of the edge so I could attach them separately together.  I finished up with a little whimsy on the bottom

of the flowers to abstractly mimic the original photo.

A fun, typical tommy piece!
